Neural Network Visual Learning Study

Welcome! This study investigates how interactive visual representations and pedagogical feedback affect student learning and intuition for deep neural networks.

Study Protocol Overview:
  • Phase 1: Pre-Study Survey (~2 mins) on background and motivation.
  • Phase 2: Guided Neural Network Tasks (Tasks 1 to 10) to practice network configuration, hyperparameters, and decision boundaries.
  • Phase 3: Independent Test Cases (Tasks 11 to 15) to evaluate problem-solving ability.
  • Phase 4: Post-Study Survey (~2 mins) and verification code for course credit.
